A late-September sky over Munich holds a different kind of electricity: the city hums from beer halls outward to fields where thousands camp for the festival after-dark. At Stoketoberfest, tents stand shoulder-to-shoulder, DJs test the night, and a carnival of lights and smells follows the beer halls like a second tide. You arrive after 2 pm, unzip a twin-share tent, and the campsite becomes both basecamp and afterparty.
