You arrive before dawn to a field that hums—tents pitched in neat rows, the smell of grill smoke threading through the cool Bavarian air, and the distant clatter of rides on the Theresienwiese. By day you’ll commute under a low, iron-blue sky into Munich’s storied beer halls; by night the campsite becomes Stoketoberfest, a rollicking counterpoint to the traditional tents with DJs, live bands, and free-flowing drinks.

The campsite is typically less than a 30-minute trip to the beer halls using Munich’s efficient public transport; expect a short tram or U-Bahn ride plus some walking.
Twin-share tents are provided with a camping mattress and sleeping bag; upgrades are not included and private tenting may be restricted.
