Dawn spreads cold light across the serrated skyline of Mount Kenya as you step from the jeep and into the bracing mountain air. The Sirimon track rises through dripping rainforest, gives way to bamboo tangles and heather moor, then opens into alpine moorland where wind-sculpted ridges lead toward Point Lenana. On clear mornings the summit delivers an arresting African sunrise and, if weather allows, a distant silhouette of Kilimanjaro.

No—Point Lenana (4,985 m) is a non-technical trekking summit; Batian and Nelion require technical mountaineering and are not part of this itinerary.
The clearest conditions are generally June–September and January–February; avoid the long rains (March–May) if you want drier trails and better summit visibility.
