This is your opportunity to experience some of New Zealand’s most stunning scenery, escaping your backyard and exploring ours. With guaranteed window viewing and in the comfort of modern aircraft, we will depart from Queenstown and head into and over the historic Skippers Canyon, where the famous gold rush era began then. From here we fly into the heart of Mount Aspiring National Park, part of Te Wahiponamu – South West NZ World Heritage Area, past spectacular Rob Roy Glacier and Mount Aspiring (Tititea) which stands proud at 3030 metres high. Tititea, meaning ‘steep peak of glistening white’ will truly take your breath away and yet there is still more to come…..

Our next turn takes you up and over the Richardson mountains experiencing the grandeur of the surrounding array of mountains, river valleys and alpine lakes including Lochnagar with its subterranean outlet. Your eyes will continue to be amazed as we then travel past Mount Earnslaw, which is actually twin peaks that stand at 2,819 metres high and are the second and third highest peaks of Otago. Mount Earnslaw and the Earnslaw Burn is known for her towering peaks which are home to a multitude of waterfalls and Glaciers some of the most dramatic scenery in New Zealand. Our journey back will continue to capture and provide panoramic views of the small township of Glenorchy, the Rees-Dart Valley (LOTR film sites for Lothlorien and Isengard) and Lake Wakatipu that can only be experienced from the air.

Please note infants are classed as 11kgs or under. If over this weight they will be charged the child price due to CAA legal requirements.
