The ride begins where city air thins and the forest takes over: a narrow track that climbs through pine-scrub slopes, the trail whispering under tires as Guadalajara recedes below. Riders pedal to a high ridge where the Tequila Volcano punctures the horizon and the city folds away in green—then gravity takes over for a fast, fun descent through rooty singletrack and rocky pitches.

La Primavera is a volcanic forest that buffers the Guadalajara basin; its geologic features—cinder cones and basalt flows—shape the trail network and local land use.
The area is a protected forest; stick to marked trails, pack out waste, and be mindful of fire risk during the dry season to protect soils and native vegetation.
