You push off from the van at a high alpine saddle and the landscape opens: squat stone houses of Lukomir clinging to a wind-swept ridge, meadows that drop into karst hollows, and a sky that can change from glassy blue to rain-driven in an hour. The route moves between forested fir stands and exposed plateaus, with singletrack, rocky farm tracks, and stony descent sections that test your line choice and nerves.
