The e-bike hums beneath you, the motor easing the steeper pitches so you can look up and take in the narrow valley and the red-berried vines that make one of Italy’s most concentrated sweet wines.

Moscato di Scanzo has medieval roots and is produced in a tiny appellation around Scanzorosciate; the region’s steep terraces reflect centuries of hand‑cultivated viticulture.
Vineyard terraces require intensive labor and careful soil management; many producers practice limited‑impact viticulture to preserve slopes and prevent erosion.
