Our Itinerary

After we meet your guide will start with the plan for our tour.

The rhythm will be slow-paced with lots of stops to soak in the views, learn how they relate to the history of Porto, take lots of photos and to answer all your questions.

As we make our way to the river we’ll see places like Cristal Palace, Miragaia and Alfândega. Always with stops for explanations and photos.

Slowly riding towards the beautiful views by the mouth of the river, we’ll go through the Tram Museum, Massarelos and Arrábida Bridge.

From Foz and St.John’s fort, we’ll follow the ocean and learn of Portugal’s sea fairing exploits around half the know world.

Time to make our way back and for a lovely local surprise! Alcohol may or may not be involved ;)

Now across the river, to Gaia, on the other side of the river Douro and make our way to the best views of Porto. Included more amazing photos ;)

Let’s explore the Natural Reserve by the mouth of the river and from there make our inland into Gaia.

Before we reach the Port Wine District we’ll be able to see the locals fishing and just seat and enjoy the river for 5 minutes.

As we explore the cellars narrow streets we’ll make our way to one of the best viewpoints of the tour to experience the city as a whole.

Your private guide, will give lots of recommendations for your next days, while you take your time enjoying the beautiful views.
