About

We choose a date that is closest to a stunning full moon for this adventure along the scenic Brisbane Valley Rail Trail . We get going at 4pm and enjoy the sun setting as we arrive at the Bellevue hotel. After a big, delicious country meal & some cold drinks, we get back on our horses and ride home with just the moonlight to guide us! It is such a unique experience to ride beautiful horses under the moonlight….. We will get a campfire going back at the property for anyone who wants to stay a awhile longer & enjoy the evening.

For those people who can already ride, there are opportunities to trot and canter along the way.

Skill levels we ask for

First time (first time riders - not suitable for this ride) Beginner (ridden a horse several times - not suitable for this ride) Novice (can control a horse comfortably at a rising trot ) Intermediate (able to control a horse at walk, trot, canter outside of an arena) Experienced (ridden all their lives, professional rider, competed, etc.)

What to Wear:

Long pants, closed in shoes & suggest shirt with sleeves

What to bring

  • Jeans or riding pants, sleeved shirt & boots (or some smooth soled shoes) are required to ride.
  • Also bring a water bottle to take with you in the saddlebag.
  • We have helmets available to use if you don't have one (all riders must wear helmets)
