A magical paddle in the moonlight on Saxapahaw Lake, above the dam. Guides will lead guests on a flat-water loop with leisurely paddling for 2-3 hours, experiencing the eerie stillness of a full moon night. Single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and canoes are available for use. Suitable for all skill levels.
All paddlers under the age of 18 that will not be accompanied by an adult will need to have a signed waiver from either a parent or legal guardian before they can participate in the trip.
To fit into a life vest all passengers should be over the age of 12 years old, and at least 30 lbs.

A reservation can be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive full in-store credit towards a future trip or course. Cancellations or “no-shows” within 24 hours of a reservation will receive no credit or refund.
Give yourself 15 minutes before the start time to get fitted with your kayak or canoe and meet your guide.
Temperatures can drop after sunset, so bring a lightweight jacket or fleece to stay comfortable.
Carry a waterproof headlamp or flashlight to stay safe during launches and returns in low light.
Keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing nocturnal animals along the shore and in the water.
Saxapahaw Lake was created by damming the Haw River and has become a recreational hub with roots in local textile mill history.
