The carved ledge and associated walking sections total about 4 km on the gorge route; add short climbs to reach viewpoints on the Montsec plateau.
The path includes narrow, exposed sections with fixed ropes; it’s not recommended for those with severe vertigo or very young children without experience of heights.
No technical climbing gear is required—the route is a marked walking path with fixed safety ropes in places, but good footwear and sure-footedness are required.
