The K2 power catamaran slips away from Kihei before dawn, engines low and decks steaming with the promise of clear water. By the time the sun lifts over Haleakalā, the crescent of Molokini appears—black rock cutting a perfect arc against blue—its inner basin already humming with activity. Crew voices are calm and purposeful: tanks are checked, weights adjusted, and dive masters pair up with small groups. With no more than a dozen divers on board, the boat feels like a mobile briefing room and launching platform all at once.
