About This Adventure

Zodiac Group Tours to World Renown Mitlenatch Island

Duration

3.5 Hours

About

Once we depart Lund, we travel to the Sound with stops at former village sites and homesteads, and make our way into parts of the marine park, drifting to observe wildlife en route. On the full day tour, we widen our circle to explore a few more places, and a shore stop part way through to tour to stretch our legs and even swim! Our return includes the Copeland Islands Marine Park.

Minimum # of Guests Policy:

3.5 hour tours have a minimum number of 3 guests and 6 & 8 hour tours have a minimum number of 4 guests required to run the tour. If your tour fails to reach its required minimum, your tour may be changed to a Private Tour, a shorter time frame OR moved to a different day. Our office will communicate with you if changes are required.

Adventure Tips

Dress in layers

Coastal weather can shift rapidly; layering allows you to stay comfortable on chilly mornings and warmer afternoons.

Bring binoculars

A good pair enhances wildlife viewing, especially for spotting eagles and seals from the Zodiac.

Wear non-slip footwear

Zodiac boarding and uneven rocky shorelines require secure footing to stay safe during stops.

Protect yourself from sun and spray

Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear a windbreaker to guard against sunburn and marine spray.
