Mini Shred Madness divides participants into two groups: Super Groms (9 and under) who are new to park riding, and Groms (ages 10 to 13) with some park experience. This ensures each rider competes among peers with similar skill sets, fostering a supportive environment where kids can push their limits without pressure. The event kicks off with check-in at Pico’s Base Lodge, followed by safety reminders including mandatory helmet use and the crucial practice of course inspection. These rules reinforce good habits that young athletes will carry through every season.
