Summa Love Surf Camp is a Long Branch, New Jersey surf school that offers youth and adult surfing experiences along the Jersey Shore. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Summa Love provides camps and lessons focused on safety, skill development, and fun. Programs include three-day and weekly surf camps for kids, Mini Camp, Grom Camp for ages 5–7, an Adults On Board class, private 90-minute lessons, and a Parent & Child Surfing option with a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Instructors keep group sizes small to ensure personalized attention and clear progress for each student.
Daily activities emphasize ocean safety, board handling, paddling, standing techniques, and wave selection appropriate to each group's skill level. Private lessons include all equipment—wetsuits and surfboards—and a 90-minute format that allows focused technique work. Camp weeks feature low-pressure instruction, games, and a Friday pizza party; weekly programs also include a high-resolution surf photo to document progress.
Summa Love prioritizes a safe, supportive environment suitable for beginners and continuing students. Grom Camp introduces children aged five to seven to shallow-wave surfing under careful supervision.
