About This Adventure

Experience the tranquility of the Miner’s Yurt, a secluded 20 ft haven for up to 8 guests, nestled atop Jenny’s Way Nordic Trail. Enjoy breathtaking views of Titus ridge line, cozy accommodations with essential amenities, and the thrill of Nordic skiing or spring backcountry adventures, all while surrounded by nature's beauty.

About

The Miner’s Yurt is the newest yurt to the Galena family. This 20 ft, 8 person yurt sits at the top of Jenny’s Way Nordic Trail and along the Tilt-a-Whirl snowshoe trail (not anywhere close to the other yurts). Miles away from your nearest neighbor, with a deck that overlooks Titus ridge line, the Miner’s yurt is amazing. This is a great yurt to Nordic ski into, with a flatter but still somewhat uphill approach. It is a little longer approach (about 1.5 miles to the yurt) than the other yurts but much flatter. This is also a great yurt for some spring backcountry skiing! This yurt has 3 bunkbeds, 2 with doubles on the bottom bunks. The yurts are all outfitted with wood stove for heat, 2 burner propane stove for cooking, all your pots, pans, silverware, glassware, paper towels, toilet paper, newspaper, wood, sleeping pads, solar lights and an outhouse!

DOGS are allowed at this yurt but must use the snowshoe trails during the winter as all Nordic Trails near this yurt are closed to dogs.
