About the Tour From hidden neighborhood favorites to historic bakeries and Neapolitan icons, this crawl connects the dots between Milanese taste and Italy’s pizza traditions. We start near the Duomo and make our way through the city center, visiting three of our favorite pizzerias—each showcasing a different style: Roman, Milanese, and Napoletana. Along the way, we stop for a quick espresso like true locals and end on a sweet note with gelato. This isn’t a generic history tour. We talk pizza. Why it matters in Milan, how it got here, who’s shaping the scene, and where it’s going next. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for the city’s slice culture. After this tour, you won’t look at Milan—or pizza—the same way again. Because this tour involves minimal walking—and kids love pizza—it’s a big hit with families.
Your Guide We don’t work with generic tour guides—we collaborate with expert food enthusiasts. Our team is made up of writers, researchers, and culinary professionals who bring both passion and expertise to every tour. Each guide has a deep knowledge of pizza’s history, science, and evolving culture—not just in Italy, but globally. Many contribute to food publications or work directly in the industry, and all are constantly learning. The team regularly dives into new historical research, regional trends, and developments in Italian pizza. It’s part of our commitment to delivering tours that are not only delicious but also deeply informed—designed for curious eaters who want more than just a good slice.
