Everyone ages 12+ are welcome to come for an amazing whitewater rafting trip on the Middle Ocoee River with OAR.

Schedule

The trip lasts 3 1/2 to 4 hours start to finish, with the travel time to and from the outpost included.

Trips are typically about 2 hours on the water.

Rafting is not available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We recommend our tubing option for those days!

With five miles of class III and IV rapids, the Middle Ocoee River provides excitement and challenge for any group. Whether you’re feeling nervous or daring, whether you just want to stay in the boat or you want a wild ride, our guides can customize your whitewater rafting trip to fit your needs.

Important Information

  • Class III & IV - River Class refers to how powerful the rapids are on a given river. Class IV rapids are difficult with constricted passages that often require complex maneuvering in turbulent water.

  • Ages 12+ - The minimum age is 12 years old. This is a requirement directly from Tennessee state law.

What to Bring

  • Water shoes, tennis shoes or something with a heel strap. Close-toed preferred!
  • Clothes that can get wet
