Orion River Expeditions is a Madras, Oregon–based outfitter specializing in guided river rafting on Washington's Wenatchee River. The company offers two named Wenatchee River trips that operate from Leavenworth put-in locations: Mid Day Rafting and Daily Unhurried. Both trips are described as suitable for families and adventurous paddlers, offering spring whitewater and calmer summer pools for swimming and scenic enjoyment. Guides with local river experience lead each trip, providing safety instruction, life jackets, and professional equipment as part of the described offerings. Orion River Expeditions coordinates logistics from Madras and manages departures into the Wenatchee River valley, bringing guests to Leavenworth-area put-in and take-out points associated with these excursions. The Mid Day Rafting itinerary focuses on a shorter, high-energy run that highlights popular whitewater sections and scenic river corridors. The Daily Unhurried trip covers an extended 14-mile route designed for a relaxed pace with opportunities to swim and explore river beaches. Both trips emphasize valley views and access to nearby Leavenworth attractions along the Wenatchee River corridor. Health and safety practices, guided instruction, and professional equipment are noted features of the trips.
