About This Adventure

Our Mid-day Island tour is our 2.5-hour island tour but is offered in the afternoon.

The afternoon tours might involve more strenuous kayaking due to a higher chance of wind.

The Mid-Day Island Tour is our award-winning 2.5-Hour Island Tour but is offered when there is a higher chance of wind. The mid-day tour is still a great option but might require more strength and ability than our morning tours. This tour can still offer all of the same wildlife sightings and experiences as the morning tours. This is still a great tour option, but not for younger children or kayakers approaching the weight limits of our tandem kayaks.

In 2022 we decided to create this tour separately from the morning Island Tours so we could raise the age limits and set the proper expectations.

Weather Notice:

When winds are down, this tour will complete the full Island Tour route, but if winds are too high for a channel crossing, our guides will decide to shorten the route.

Single Kayak Notice:

Single kayaks are only allowed on this tour if you can demonstrate proper experience. Odd number reservations might ride in a tandem kayak with the guide or another guest.
