About This Adventure

The bountiful Sapphire Coast has some of the best inshore and offshore fishing in NSW. Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna Bluefin Tuna, Kingfish, Snapper are all caught in these pristine waters.

Merimbula Marina offer charters to suit the beginner through to the keen fisherman including group or private charters. The local reefs are plentiful year round. Snapper, Morwong, Tiger and Sand Flathead, Trevally, Nannygai, Leatherjacket, not to mention the many varieties or Wrasses and Gropers are a bottom bouncers delight. So if you are looking for that special variety of table fish, be assured that the Sapphire Coast has them!

Our boat Sensational has plenty of space and offers a stable platform for your fishing. Quality fishing rods and reels provided. No fishing licence required. Fish cleaned and bagged for you to take home and enjoy!

Our 3 hour reef fishing charter is our most popular charter, just the right amount of time to catch a feed of fish to take home for lunch! These are a great charter for the beginner through to the experienced angler. The skipper has a variety of reefs to choose from and will take you to the ones that fish best given the weather conditions.

Charter Information

This charter will take you into the open ocean. We strongly recommend that you take sea sickness prevention tablets before boarding the boat. Please visit your chemist to discuss options available to you.

Whenever going to sea it is always best to be prepared for all weather eventualities:

Wear flat, covered shoes, bring warm clothing, wet weather jacket, hat, sunglasses, camera.

Bring any food you may like whilst on the cruise.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure

There is onboard hand washing and Hand Sanitiser, however we do recommend bringing your own hand sanitiser for your convenience.

Please be advised that on most of our tours Roger our whale spotting Kelpie will be onboard. If you have an allergy or this poses a problem for you please contact us.

We recommend bringing the following:

Sunglasses, to avoid the glare off the water Warm clothes - it is typically colder out on the water than on land Camera to capture those magical moments Eat sensibly before you travel and ask your pharmacist about sea sickness tablets. Better to come prepared! If you do not regularly go to sea we do recommend taking sea sickness prevention.
