You round a low stone wall, the Mehari's canvas roof flapping, and the rows of vines seem to lean in as if to watch you pass. The road here is honest—gravel, dust, and sudden openings where terraces drop away to reveal the patchwork of the Penedès: sun-bright vines, scrub, and the distant silhouette of the Garraf hills.
