Megan Moroney Live at Great Jones County Fair: Cloud 9 Tour Bus Packages from Dubuque & Cedar Rapids

Under a wide Iowa sky, the Great Jones County Fairgrounds in Monticello, Iowa, stage an evening where country-pop singer Megan Moroney brings the Cloud 9 Tour to town. Located at 800 N Maple St, Monticello, the fairgrounds sit amid rolling cornfields and low limestone bluffs that edge this section of Jones County. This trip bundles deluxe coach transport from Dubuque and Cedar Rapids/Marion with track-side standing concert admission, a trip host, and the kind of uncomplicated group energy that turns a roadside ride into a night you remember. The setting is straightforward: outdoor stage, track-side standing area, fairground midway, and the lights of carnival rides behind the audience. Expect prairie grasses, the smell of funnel cake and woodsmoke, and the occasional barn silhouette on the horizon — all elemental parts of an Iowa summer concert. The coach ride is part of the experience: high-back reclining seats, onboard restroom, individual reading lights and outlets, and underfloor luggage capacity mean you arrive relaxed and ready to stand and sing. Departure is scheduled with an early Dubuque pickup at the Walmart parking lot on HWY 20 and an additional Cedar Rapids/Marion stop; please arrive fifteen minutes early to check in. Why book this through Midwest Bus Trips? The package simplifies logistics for out-of-town visitors and locals who prefer to avoid parking headaches and the long drive home. Track-side standing tickets keep you close to the stage without the stress of securing parking or navigating fair entry lines. The trip format also makes it easy to weave between set times, sample fair food, and still rely on a direct coach home. Practical notes: bring a small cooler that fits within your seating area, layered clothing for shifting July temperatures, ear protection if you plan to stand track-side, and a portable charger. Under-18 attendees must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The operator requires a minimum of 30 tickets for the trip to proceed; sales are final, though credits may be offered if the event is canceled. Driver gratuity, food and beverage, and any additional fair extras are not included. This outing is pure Midwest summer: a shared coach ride, a lively fairground atmosphere, and a stadium-less, open-air concert beneath a big northern sky. For anyone traveling through eastern Iowa in late July, it's an efficient, friendly way to catch Megan Moroney live while leaving the driving to someone else. Onboard hosts handle check-in and timekeeping, and organizers post clear meeting and return times so late-night plans stay predictable. The communal ride brings riders from Dubuque and Cedar Rapids together, turning strangers into concert companions and making the evening as much about the journey as the headliner's set. Bring friends, sing loud, arrive smiling.
