Come get up close and personal with our alpacas while you learn all about them - where they come from, what we do with them, how we care for them, and lots more!
Leave the hustle, bustle, stress and hectic lifestyle for a few hours to relax and enjoy these amazing animals. From the moment you walk into the fields with them, you will feel a calming sensation often times called ""Alpaca Magic"". Alpacas are very gentle and extremely inquisitive creatures. They love meeting you just as much as you will love meeting them. And when we say meet, we don't mean over a fence line. We take you right into the fields so you can actually interact with the Alpacas. Our tour guides are very knowledgeable and experienced individuals who will ensure you have an amazing hands-on learning experience.
All proceeds from our tours go directly towards the care and maintenance of our Alpacas to help offset the rising costs of feed, hay, and medical care.
• Meet and learn all about alpacas and visit our fiber mill showroom to learn how we process the raw fleece into beautiful yarns, rovings and batts.
• Toddlers and Infants, ages 0 - 2, are welcome and free!
• In the event of inclement weather, the tour will be conducted indoors in the barn.
• We are a working alpaca farm and do not have public restrooms. You may want to stop at the Royal Farms right down the road before you get to the farm.
Maryland weather can shift quickly; layering helps you stay comfortable during the farm tour.
The farm terrain can be uneven; sturdy, closed-toe shoes protect your feet during the tour.
While alpacas are hypoallergenic, bring any needed allergy medications just in case.
Respect the alpacas by following all handler instructions, especially when feeding or touching them.
