Get up close and personal with our critically endangered SC State Heritage Horse - the Marsh Tacky. Attendees will learn about what makes these horses special and why they are significant to South Carolina history, heritage and culture. Then, meet a Marsh Tacky. Orally narrated tours, supplemented by mixed media and a special, hands-on experience are suitable for the entire family and sure to delight your history or horse enthusiast in the group.
-Note that we do not have public restrooms at our new location yet. -Beverages, snacks, merchandise and memberships are available for additional purchase. -100% of proceeds from this program goes to covering costs for routine horse care (grain, hay, vet, farrier, grooming supplies, barge, etc.).
