About this Experience
Binturongs, also known as Bearcats, love fruit, and you’ll get to give them some of their favorite treats like grapes or banana slices. Surprisingly large and agile, bearcats are very inquisitive and gentle. They also emit a scent that smells like buttered popcorn!
Not much is known about bearcats, but we know that their habitat in Southeast Asia is being deforested. Our partner, Arctictus Binturong Conservation, has several programs underway to learn more about these fascinating animals which your guide will share with you.
