Step into the Middle Ages and uncover the fascinating stories behind medieval artifacts! Engage in hands-on activities with stained glass, armor, and manuscripts, and create your own medieval-style manuscript inspired by personal stories. This family-friendly experience invites participants aged 7-12 to explore history together in a unique, interactive way.
Travel back in time over 1,000 years to explore life in the Middle Ages! Discover the stories behind medieval objects in the Glencairn collection, enjoy hands-on activities that get you up close with stained glass, weapons and armor, sculpture, manuscripts, and more. Each participant will be able to create a medieval-style manuscript of their own inspired by stories and objects that are important in their own lives.
This program is designed for students ages 7-12 but is open to the whole family. This is not a drop-off event. One adult per group is required to attend.
Adults, seniors, and students each $8, and children 4 and under free, but will not have supplies provided.
