Rivers in Antioquia shaped settlement patterns and coffee cultivation; many mountain villages were historically isolated, preserving local traditions tied to water and agriculture.
The river corridor is sensitive — avoid littering, use guides who practice leave-no-trace, and minimize single-use plastics to protect freshwater biodiversity.
