On a small stretch of coast near Lahaina, a group of four slips into the surf with calm, practiced motions—each breath a lesson in trust between diver and ocean. The waves nudge and test you; the reef, patient and slow, invites inspection. No—this is an introductory dive for non-certified participants; you will complete an eLearning lesson and an on-site orientation before entering the water.
Expect about 30–40 minutes in the water; total activity time including briefing and gearing is roughly 2–3 hours.
You must complete a medical waiver online. Any positive answers may require a doctor’s release; heart, spinal or pregnancy conditions are not recommended.
Minimum age is 12 years old; children must meet the same waiver and swimming requirements as adults.
Bring your completed waiver confirmation, a swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, towel, ID and a water bottle. Operators will provide all diving equipment.
