O Food Tour Experience pretende dar a conhecer uma prática portuguesa secular de conservação do pescado em Portugal.
Neste passeio vamos conhecer o Mercado Municipal de Matosinhos, como uma grande variedade de oferta de produtos, maioritariamente pescado e marisco fresco, mas também hortaliças e fruta, entre outros produtos alimentares.
A seguir vamos fazer uma visita à fábrica de Conservas Portugal Norte. A empresa iniciou a sua atividade em 1912 e se tornou numa tradição familiar, que ao longo dos anos foi entrelaçando a tradição e a inovação neste universo das conservas de pescado. A visita demora aproximadamente 45 minutos e inclui no final uma deliciosa degustação.
Ainda na cidade de Matosinhos, para terminar, não há nada como uma deliciosa iguaria, vamos provar o delicioso éclair da Leitaria da Quinta do Paço.
