About

A six-hour private photo tour in Barcelona. Starting with coffee to review your photography skills and customize our tour to suit your level and go over technical skills and then shooting a variety of locations.

Don’t limit yourself to just the Gothic Quarter; the Extended Photo tours take in both the Street Tour and the Night Tour so you can cover more ground and come away with more spectacular images. Let a professional photographer guide you through your setting as they whisk you to their favorite spots to capture the best images in Barcelona. We will lead you to superb photographic opportunities for all kinds of subjects, from landmarks and people watching to hidden secrets and great views over the city, all the while offering practical tips and helping you to develop your own creative vision.

Each tour is crafted to the skills and needs of the participants. Apart from taking photos, you can also expect to learn:

  • Creative composition, using lines, repetition, camera angles
  • Training your eye: composition, subjects, lighting
  • Taking control of your camera: ƒ-stop, shutter speed, ISO and focusing
  • Night photography basics
  • Light painting
  • Night portraiture - getting the most out of your flash
  • Long exposure light streaking - cars, boats
  • Reviewing your photography

Each tour is private, and we will not couple you with people you do not know. Feel free to bring along guests, such as other photographer friends, or your partner and family, but we ask you to limit the group to four people. This way we can work at your pace to make sure you take away the skills that last a lifetime.

Combined tours can be taken either back to back or over two separate days. If you choose the two-day option, please email us so we can arrange the same photographer both days.

What to Bring

Along with your camera and some comfortable walking shoes, make sure you don't forget a spare battery! Also we highly recommend bringing a tripod. If you don't have one, you can rent it when booking.
