Perfect for both beginners and advanced shooters, this course covers essential techniques, including red dot usage and one-handed shooting. Principles of Marksmanship covers the essential concepts that allow a shooter to make accurate shots at a variety of ranges. Starting from the ground up, the Principles of Marksmanship will be explained in a way that will help hone the accuracy of beginning and advanced shooters alike.
This class not only show the fundamentals of marksmanship, but will address red dots, shooting at 25 yards, and one handed shooting. Students will also be given a chance to shoot a specific qualification course to evaluate skills learned in the class.
This class will require 100 rounds of ammunition that can be brought or purchased at the time of the class. ( If renting a pistol, ammo purchased through C&S must be used.)
Must have completed a basic level class or must show proficiency with a firearm. Must be able to load a magazine, rack the slide, and safely handle a firearm.
Ensure you have completed a basic firearms safety course or demonstrate proficiency before attending to maximize learning and safety.
Though rentals may be available, bringing your own firearm and gear will provide familiarity and comfort during training.
The course is outdoors; dress appropriately for South Carolina’s seasonal heat and humidity, and consider sun protection.
