• Choice of Firearm and the Ability to Conceal it
• Drawing from Your Holster
• Multiple Shots Engagement
• Travel with a Firearm

What is primary audience for the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting?

The primary audience are those who

• Starting starting out and need guidance with proper concealed carry
• Want to learn only and do not care to carry a firearm
• Want to become an NRA CCW instructor

Do I need to be an NRA Member?

You do NOT need to be an NRA member, but it is encouraged to become an NRA member.

What do I Need?

• A pistol of choice
• 100 Rounds of ammunition
• A good attitude
• A holster for your firearm
• 2 Magazines
• A magazine holder is encouraged
• Firearm and magazines must be concealed (covered) during the live fire portion of the class

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes you will receive a certificate after the successful completion of the course. There is an accuracy test at the end of the course and you will receive a leveled rank of 1-4. If you want to be an NRA CCW instructor its best that your score in the Level 4 category. We will help you achieve that score and you can also get coaching lessons with Triple A Coach

Is the certificate good for a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit?

Currently as of July of 2024 yes, the certificate is valid for to apply for your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit. However, the Colorado General Assembly has passed HB24-1174 which will change that. It is unclear exactly when that law will go into effect. It could be as early as August of 2024 or as late as July of 2025. Our advice is to schedule and apply as soon as you can.

How much will it cost in total?

The total cost will depend on the adding you want or need. The basic class will cost $150 plus taxes and fees.

What is the refund policy?

• No refund within 30 days of the event.
• 90% partial refund between 30-45 days of the event, does not include deposit or fees from third parties such as Stripe and FareHarbor
• Credit is NOT given for missed classes.
