8 Weeks 30 Minute sessions
Skaters in this level will be introduced to the concept of skating on one foot while coaches assist them in finding their own balance. Throughout the level skaters will gain confidence in creating momentum to move across the ice both forward and backward.
We have a fully stocked skate shop…so no need to panic if you forget your socks or gloves! Better still, we also have a cosy coffee shop so if you’re beginning to feel the cold, you can enjoy a hot drink and food, whilst you sit back, relax and view all the fast-paced action on the ice!
Our rinks maintain an air temperature of 10C so warm layers are a must! An insulated rain jacket will keep you warm and dry, and be sure to bring long socks. We strongly recommend that young skaters wear a well-fitted bike, ice hockey or ski helmet.
The rink is kept around 10°C, so wearing insulated jackets and long socks helps you stay comfortable during lessons.
Young skaters are strongly recommended to wear well-fitted helmets such as bike or hockey helmets to protect against falls.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your lesson to check in, get your skates, and prepare to start on time.
