Embark on an immersive 8-hour photography course that combines hands-on learning with a city tour. With a maximum of six participants, you'll receive personalized guidance from an award-winning photographer. Capture stunning scenes, from Parliament House to sunset over the lake, while mastering essential photography techniques and settings.

This photography course will take you on a tour around the city and teach you all about photography. We run the course in small groups of 6 or fewer so you will receive a lot of one on one help in a group environment. Your teacher is an award-winning commercial photographer with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
You will have fun taking photographs of a variety of things and learn the best settings for every one of them.
You will get the chance to photograph many scenes including Parliament House, low light interior architecture, stained glass windows, and the sun setting over the lake.
Any camera is suitable for this course, however, a camera with manual capabilities is recommended
An 8-hour workshop means plenty of shooting time; avoid interruptions by packing extra power and storage.
You'll be covering a variety of terrains around the city, so sturdy footwear will keep you comfortable.
Canberra’s weather can change quickly; layering allows you to adapt to varying temperatures during the day.
Ensure all devices are fully charged to make the most of the workshop and for safety during outdoor shooting.
