Lesson Details

Head out on the water with an experienced instructor and sail! Your instructor will customize your experience, this can be the first time sailing, you may consider yourself a beginner or intermediate sailor or just want a refresher. This is a positive environment to build skills, knowledge and confidence, so you can increase your enjoyment on the water, connect with nature and have a lot of fun!

Come by yourself or with up to two others for a lesson. Each person can choose how much they want to participate. If some in your party want to relax and watch they can do this as others are sailing.  We are on a river, so this is a great spot to learn in calm waters.  We can also get out into the Saco Bay as well in a short amount of time.

If you wish, please tell us about any sailing experience you have had and let us know what items you would like to work on specifically. We want to help you get the best you can from our time together. Some possible ideas to consider are:

  • How to confidently set and adjust sails

If it would be helpful for you to have some useful textbooks, we can offer some suggestions to purchase.

Our lesson sail boats is 26 feet, certainly not a small boat and not too large either. A perfect length to learn on and fantastic to sail for any experience level!

When you are ready for a lesson on a 40’ sailboat you can private charger one of ours!

Those taking lessons, must wear life jackets. We will provide life jackets or you can bring your own. If you wish us to provide life jackets for children, please provide us with their estimated weights during the booking process. Children taking lessons must have a guardian's permission.

You can select your lesson time directly from our available dates/times right here online. We can customize the lesson date, time and length as well, just call, text or email us and we will do our best to accommodate your desires.

Gratuity

Pricing does not include gratuity. Gratuity is optional and is similar to tipping in other service industries such as in a restaurant or spa. Gratuity can be added to a credit card, VENMO or cash. Your instructor appreciates any gratuity you elect to provide.
