Take your boating skills to the next level with our 1-day upgrade course, designed for holders of the Spanish Boat Licence or RYA Powerboat Level 1. This programme bridges the gap between basic training and the internationally recognised RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate — giving you the confidence and ability to safely handle powerboats up to 10 metres in length.
The course combines a full day of practical training on the water with short online modules to consolidate your knowledge. Taught in small groups (maximum 3 students per boat), you’ll benefit from plenty of individual attention and hands-on practice.
This qualification is accepted internationally and, for British passport holders, is recognised in Spain for driving motorboats up to 10 metres (LWL). It is also widely accepted by boating clubs, charter companies and partners such as Freedom Boating Club for operating their fleet.
If you’d like individual tuition or if the dates don’t match your schedule, consider the RYA Powerboat Level 2 Direct Access course. This one-day private programme is designed for students with prior boating experience, offering intensive coaching and continuous assessment to achieve the qualification in just one day.
