Every class begins with an important and necessary land lesson for 20 minutes. Then hop in the water to learn the basics! Learn paddling technique, pop up technique, and how to be safe in different wind conditions, ocean currents, and tides. Have the opportunity to ask your instructor as many questions as desired! Ask for extra clarification or how to learn a new technique, such as the proper etiquette for surfing in crowded conditions or learning the most important tips for paddling out on your own in the future.

Reef-safe sunscreen, rash guard, water shoes, and surfboard are provided.
