Deep Diving Specialty Course Take your scuba skills to new depths with our SSI Deep Diving Specialty. Over the course of three (3) open water dives, you’ll explore dive sites ranging from 60–130 feet (18–40 meters) while mastering the essential techniques for planning and conducting safe deep dives.
With small groups and professional instruction, you’ll gain the confidence to explore deeper dive sites and experience the thrill of encountering marine life that few divers see.
Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification, opening the door to advanced adventures around the world.
Duration: 1 Day Prerequisite:
Deep diving requires proper hydration to reduce the risk of decompression sickness—drink plenty of water before and after your dives.
Ensure all your gear is in excellent working condition and suitable for deep diving before entering the water.
Stick strictly to the dive plan provided by your instructor to ensure safety at greater depths.
Allow sufficient surface interval after diving before flying to prevent decompression sickness.
