About

Deep Diving Specialty Course Take your scuba skills to new depths with our SSI Deep Diving Specialty. Over the course of three (3) open water dives, you’ll explore dive sites ranging from 60–130 feet (18–40 meters) while mastering the essential techniques for planning and conducting safe deep dives.

Training includes:

  • Pre-dive planning & safety checks
  • Buoyancy control and equipment adjustments
  • DSMB (Surface Marker Buoy) deployment
  • Controlled descents, ascents, and safety stops
  • Gas management & surface air consumption monitoring

With small groups and professional instruction, you’ll gain the confidence to explore deeper dive sites and experience the thrill of encountering marine life that few divers see.

Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification, opening the door to advanced adventures around the world.

Duration: 1 Day Prerequisite:

  • Min. Age: 15
  • Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
