Bursting with bold flavour, vibrant colour and beautiful fresh ingredients, Thai street food is a feast for the senses. In this hands-on class, you’ll transport yourself to the bustling streets of Bangkok by rustling up 3 showstopping Thai-style dishes.

Get to grips with perfectly balancing the 4 essential taste sensations – salty, sour, sweet and hot.

What you’ll do:

  • Create a lip-smacking tom yum soup, complete with fragrant lemongrass, fiery galangal and juicy prawns.
  • Stir-fry quality bavette steak or aubergine until sizzling hot, then toss in an umami-packed sauce with dark soy, garlic and chilli, and load up with fragrant herbs.
  • Pound staple Thai ingredients into a sweet and sour dressing and toss through crunchy veg for an epic side salad.
  • Learn the secret to creating perfect fluffy rice, every time.
  • Take a seat at our chef’s table to tuck into your Thai street food spread.

What you’ll eat & drink:

  • Fragrant tom yum soup
  • Crispy stir-fried beef or aubergine
  • Crunchy Thai-style sweet-and-sour salad
  • Perfect fluffy rice
  • A complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival (or a soft drink, if you prefer)
  • Water is provided throughout and you’re welcome to purchase wine, beer, spirits & mixers, cocktails and softs from our drinks menu.

  • All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be provided
  • Easy-to-follow demos, led by our expert teaching chef
  • You’ll work in pairs to recreate the dishes at your cooking stations
  • Tuck into a vibrant Thai feast around our chef's table (or pack a box to take home, if you prefer)
  • A digital recipe pack with everything you need to recreate the magic at home

  • You don’t have to be part of a pair to book. If you’re flying solo, you may be paired up with another person.
  • The duration of the class includes teaching demos and hands-on cooking, as well as time to tuck into delicious dishes at our chef’s table.
  • Only those who are actively taking part in a class are permitted at the Cookery School. Sadly, we are unable to accommodate spectators or provide a waiting area for friends and family.
