If you have never paddled before and want to try SUP or just haven't been out on the water in awhile this 1.5 hour introductory class is for you. We provide a properly sized paddle and board, land and water instruction, and a guided tour with fun and friendly instructors. We will cover everything you need to know about the paddle stroke, how to get up, where to stand, and how to stay safe and enjoy this amazing sport! For the advanced paddler this is a perfect setting to develop your core paddle stroke and learn to maneuver your board in different situations. Wear water friendly clothing, and if bringing sunglasses or a hat please be able to secure them. Please arrive 15 minutes before class start time. Minimum age for this class is 16. We supply life jackets however you must know how to swim.
Safety first—ensure you wear a USCG-approved life jacket throughout your paddleboarding session.
Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear a hat to protect yourself from Florida’s strong sun rays.
Begin on sheltered parts of the lake to build confidence before venturing into open waters.
