Join us for SUP yoga teacher training in sunny South Florida! This training event will teach you everything you need to know to get started safely & confidently teaching SUP yoga. It also provides an opportunity to earn 4 certifications in one: *World Paddle Association Class 1 SUP Instructor *International SUP Yoga Academy Level 1 SUP Yoga Instructor *American Canoe Association SUP Yoga Leader *TFY Certified SUP Yoga Teacher + 25 hours of continuing education with Yoga Alliance

Please note that the 2 days listed on this event are the two intensive in-person training days. There will also be an online portion to complete in advance and a pre-training meeting call the evening before the in person training.

**Hybrid online training: You will receive a login to join the online portion of our hybrid training. Expect the online portion to take approximately 10 hours total (for reading + watching lesson videos + completing all tasks). You may work through at your own pace but please make sure to complete the online portion before in-person training.

**Pre-training meeting the evening before the in-person training (approximately 1hour) This an opportunity to meet everyone, review wind/ weather/ tide predictions, review schedule, expectations, & location information.

**Intensive In-Person training day 1: Be ready for a long day on the water including the following: equipment set up, off water intro, best practices for safe launching, learn to set anchors, take a SUP Yoga class lead by the trainer, discuss modifications/cueing/ considerations for SUP yoga flows, enjoy a lunch break off the water before launching again for paddle practice & refinements of forward stroke, reverse sweep, forward sweep, and side draw.

**Intensive In-Person training day 2: Be ready for a long day on the water including the following: trainees practice equipment set up, trainees practice leading off water into, trainees demonstrate best practices for safe launching, trainees set anchors, each trainee leads a mini demo SUP Yoga class, feedback (glows and grows) for all participants, enjoy a lunch break off the water before launching again for rescue skills: towing with a tow-line, towing with board-stacking, safe falling, self-rescue, assisted rescue/ heel hook, & flip rescues.
