Aft Cabin - $2,900 per person Owner's Cabin with en-suite - $5,800

Deposit of $1,000 is required at time of booking and is non-refundable. The amount collected will cover the ASA 105 Online Course and the deposit for the ASA 106 Course Materials.

Upon completion of the self-paced ASA 105 course, please call the office to reschedule your on the water portion for the ASA 106. Please provide the booking number to the reservationist in order to locate your booking.

At that time, you can select from the calendar of dates to join the class. - Please note, there is a minimum of 2 students required to hold the class.

Description

Join us on an immersive sailing experience with our new and dynamic combo course at St Augustine Sailing! Kickstart your journey with the self-paced ASA 105 Online course, where you'll delve into essential skills such as tide and current analysis, course conversion, and chart plotting.  Once you've mastered the ASA 105, the adventure continues with the monthly ASA 106 courses. Here, as both skipper and crew on a liveaboard coastal cruise, you'll navigate night sailing challenges. Showcase your helmsmanship skills by executing proper techniques in varying wind conditions, including beating, reaching, running, tacking, jibing, heading up, bearing away, and luffing. Maneuver through 20 knots of wind, taking into account wind shifts, tides, current, and local geography. Sail a compass course with precision, tow a dinghy proficiently, and demonstrate a Man Overboard recovery maneuver during nighttime sailing. Master anchoring, weighing anchor, picking up and casting off moorings, all while honing your navigation watch skills during day and night passages. This comprehensive course seamlessly integrates elements from ASA 105, ensuring you emerge as a well-rounded and skilled sailor. Enroll now and set sail towards a new level of sailing expertise!
