We offer beginner lessons for new paddlers looking to learn the basics with a certified instructor. During your lesson, our goal is for you to be confident paddling around the Marina del Rey Harbor. You will learn the basics of stance, paddle strokes, recovery and safety. Practice the skills and see the sights of our local marina.
Time: 9:00am and 11:00am 7 days a week. 24 hour advanced reservation required.
Paddleboarding is best on calm, clear days; avoid strong winds and high waves for safety and ease.
Always wear a PFD while on the water, even during beginner lessons, for safety.
Protect your skin and the harbor's ecosystem by applying reef-safe sunscreen before heading out.
