About This Adventure

Embark on an exciting 8-week journey into ice skating, perfect for complete beginners! Learn essential skills like falling safely, balancing, and gliding forwards and backwards. With expert coaching, you'll gain confidence and master new techniques, making your time on the ice both fun and memorable. Dress warmly and get ready to skate!

Complete beginners start here and they will be slowly introduced to the basics of ice skating with the goal of making the skater safe on the ice. Once they have been introduced to the correct way to fall and stand up on the ice, coaches will encourage skaters to find their own balance and start moving across the ice independently in both directions, forwards and backwards!

What to bring

Our rinks maintain an air temperature of 10C so warm layers are a must! An insulated rain jacket will keep you warm and dry, and be sure to bring long socks.
