About

A Girl & A Gun

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League is a ladies-only organization established by women shooters for women pistol, rifle, and shotgun shooters! The league is designed to take beginners to whatever skill level they wish to achieve and provide experienced shooters with more opportunities. The objective of some is to improve their skill levels for self-defense and competitive shooting. Others also are interested in learning how to choose the right guns, gear, and accessories for long-term participation in the community.

Girls Night Out! With a Girl & a Gun

It is important to come together in a non-intimidating atmosphere and do some shooting where you can relax and practice! Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you; for many it may ease the fear when going to the range. Our events provide an opportunity to meet other like-minded women who love to shoot! Bring your journal and shoot with our certified instructor facilitating range time. We will hang out locally for a drink or food afterwards! Location TBA.

Please bring:

  • Your handgun - no rifles or shotguns unless specified
  • Ammo - 50-100 rounds
  • Ear Protection
  • Eye Protection
  • IFAK if you have one

Please bring your unloaded handguns either in a case or in a holster. Targets will be provided.

Cost: $10 GNO fee paid directly to Julie Park, AGAG. Reduced range fee of $20.00 paid directly to Magnum when registering. No fee for Magnum members. If you’d like to check out the group as a guest, contact Julie Park at sdgfirearms@gmail.com for details.
