Description

NOTE: This class is highly recommended to first build your confidence in shooting before your "Concealed Handgun Permit course."

Start with the basics in this great family class - for new or experienced shooters.

Whether you’ve never handled a firearm, or if you’d like to tighten up your skills, Firearms Fundamentals can help get you where you want to be.

Beginners: Learn the fundamentals of shooting in the classroom as we help you get comfortable handling firearms. This hands-on class takes place in a safe environment. We start with a course outline and detailed instruction before you touch a firearm. After the instructional period, you'll handle simulated firearms to perfect your grip. Begin here with your journey!

Experienced shooters: Improve your shot grouping while trying out different firearms. You can also bring your family to learn and train together. In this class, you'll learn how to safely handle a firearm and master the fundamentals of shooting, including grip, stance, aiming, trigger control, breathing, and follow-through.

*Firearms, eye protection, ear protection, and ammo are all available for purchase at Magnum Shooting Center, as well as firearm rental. If you are renting a firearm/need to purchase items for class, please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time. Anyone is unable to arrive 5 minutes past the hour will be required to reschedule. You Must Be 21 years old to rent a handgun unless you are with a parent or legal guardian.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete mandatory safety protocols and orientation.

Wear Comfortable, Protective Clothing

Closed-toe shoes and eye protection are required; bring ear protection if you have it or use rentals.
