About

Riding lessons at the Hitching Post are focus on balanced, well-rounded riding and knowledgable horsemanship. Each lesson is roughly one hour, which includes tacking and untacking. For safety reasons, if it is your first time riding with us, you must take at least one private lesson prior to joining a group lesson.

Riding instruction and technique is based on using a confident, balanced seat and soft hands. Students will also learn essential horsemanship skills such as safe handling, grooming, tacking, and more. Our lessons are a hands-on experience suitable for first time riders, through advanced intermediate riders.
