About:

The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.

During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature.

What you will learn: The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. ​

Topics include:

  • Self rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers

Requirements:

  • Must be a PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers who is at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Dive.
  • Must have Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

You can start now by purchasing our PADI Rescue Diver course through our online booking system.

Please keep in mind, this is a 2 DAY course and you will be scheduled on a boat trip with us for the day after you start your course.

What will you need?

As a PADI Rescue Diver Student, you will need to:

  • Review the PADI Medical Form

  • Complete the PADI online e-learning course prior to your first in water training day.

  • Bring your own personal pocket mask to practice in-water resuscitation.

DON'T FROGET to schedule the CPR & First aid DAN training when booking the Rescue course with Silent World, IF it is needed.

What will Silent World provide?

  • Professional staff members and instructors to guide you through your course.
  • All the scuba related equipment, IF RENTED for the duration of the course. To include: mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device (BCD), regulator set, scuba tanks, and weights .
  • Price includes - ​Everything you need to become Rescue certified: academic materials, PADI Professional Instructor, 5 in-water training dives, fees for the training facility and boat trip.
