Marketing with AI at MadTown Pub: Aroostook Women's Network in Madawaska

MadTown Pub in Madawaska is both hearth and hub at the edge of Maine’s northern wilds. Located at 735 Main St, Madawaska, this lively bar on the St. John River corridor sits where the town’s Franco‑American culture, cold winters, and outdoor livelihoods converge. On evenings like this the pub pulls a crowd beyond its regulars: local anglers, snowmobile riders, and small‑business owners drop in to swap route tips and resource ideas. It’s the kind of place that turns a talk into a practical workshop—exactly why the Aroostook Women’s Network chose it for an event featuring Johanna Johnston & Summer Dulinsky on "Marketing with AI." The event runs roughly 5:30–6:30 PM and pairs a compact, focused agenda with the informal energy of Main Street conversation. Expect an approachable primer on how small organizations can integrate AI into marketing—customer segmentation, straightforward automation, and ethical considerations—delivered in a setting where you can ask specific questions and leave with tactics to try the next morning. MadTown Pub’s wood‑soaked interior and open layout make a tight, interactive session feel relaxed; the room hums with lived experience rather than corporate polish. Madawaska’s landscape is part of the show: look out from the pub or step across Main Street to see the St. John River cutting a low glacial valley framed by stands of fir and maple. That river and the surrounding boreal transition zone are why local pursuits swing from summer fishing and paddling to winter snowmobiling and ice fishing—so a business talk held here carries the tone of a place that values practical solutions and hands‑on learning. This gathering is a rare blend of professional development and regional flavor: you’ll leave with clear next steps for applying AI to outreach, plus local connections you can actually call. The Aroostook Women’s Network itself is a community force for women in business across the county, and hosting a session at MadTown Pub makes the talk accessible in a town where in‑person ties still matter. Practical notes: arrive early to grab a seat, bring a charged device for note‑taking, and have business cards ready for quick exchanges. If you’re coming from out of town, Madawaska’s Main Street has basic lodging and river access; the meeting is an easy complement to a day on the water or an evening after a local trail run. This is a one‑hour, action‑oriented stop that combines tech-forward ideas with the honest, people‑first rhythm of Maine’s borderlands. Ideal for small‑business owners, nonprofit leaders, and solo entrepreneurs, the session requires no prior AI experience—only curiosity and a willingness to test simple tools. Space is limited; contact the Aroostook Women’s Network or stop by MadTown Pub to confirm seating and any last‑minute changes before you travel.
